Climb the White Dune

This is a 5 minute really easy climb! Just go to the top and discover what is behind! This dune is stunning and only accessible at low tide.

Swim at Puerto Rico Beach

This is a stunning virgin beach where you can spend a day or just an hour if you are on a tour!

Get a unique massage at the thermal source of Amnaa

You may think that you are going to dip in hot springs, but the experience is quite different! For 15 MAD, there is a person that will give you a natural massage with jets of sulphurous hot water that emanate from the thermal spring.

Go for a fish pedicure in Imlili Desert

Put your feet in one of the lagoons of the Imlili oasis, and you will see some fishes of ancestral origin coming to nibble your dead skin. This is a free fish pedicure!

Eat the best oysters of Morocco in Talha Mar

This is the place to go to eat oysters! They just cost 4 dirhams each (no even half euro) so eat as many as you want! If you don’t like oysters, they do delicious seafood, fish plates, seafood tagines and even lobster!

Visit the Ostrich farm

This is not a must but the visit is interesting to know more about the ostrichs and see a bunch of them at different ages.

Drink Saharawi tea

Drinking the Saharawi tea is a real ritual. Different than the rest of Morocco, the Saharawi tea is a green tea imported from China, flavored with fresh spearmint leaves and sugar. Served in three or Four different cups, Saharawi people gather around this symbol of hospitality and generosity. The larger the group, the more privileged the community is, so join them!

Enjoy your stay at Selina Daklha

This is one desert camp a bit away from the crowd around the lagoon. This secluded place faces the ocean and will charm you with its architecture and design, incredible swimming pool, delicious meals and unique social vibe. You will also be lucky to watch both sunrise and sunset on the beach and the sky full of stars at night!

Eat a delicious lunch or dinner at Palais Rhoul & Spa

If you are in City Center and don’t know what to do, just relax and spend some time at Palais Rhoul. The place is stunning! Choose between enjoying a lunch (menu at 380 MAD) around the swimming pool (and enjoy the swimming pool for free, otherwise the day pass is 400 MAD) or having dinner with sea view! You can also get a yoga class or even stay there for the night to get the best out of this incredible house.

Get a drink in Dakhla City Center

If you fancy an alcoholic drink, go to Villa Dakhla Restaurant! If you prefer to get tea, go to Samarkand! The pizza there is good but if you prefer something else, just go to Villa Dakhla Restaurant. Both have an amazing sea view.

Take a tour of Dakla City Center

Everybody living there will tell you that there is nothing special to see but if you happen to be there, you can visit:

  • the souk: nothing special except the special costumes of Sahara

  • the “complexe d’artisanat”: the place is quite empty but you can find very special handmade artcraft at the Bazar Berbère

  • the market: this is a very local market for food. Go if you want to immerse yourself with locals and buy some vegetables, fruits, fish or even meat

  • the Dakhla monument: take a selfie in front of it for the souvenir

Enjoy a night in City Center at Palais Rhoul & Spa or Hotel Oasis

Both hotels are 2 minutes walking in the same street. They both have an amazing sea view. If you want a small boutique hotel with an amazing access to the lagoon, go to Hotel Oasis. If you prefer a bigger place where you have everything on the spot (restaurant, swimming pool, spa, yoga), opt for Palais Rhoul & Spa
