Get a delicious breakfast to start the day

You have plenty of options in Taghazout to have a delicious breakfast:

  • World of Waves: to enjoy the view over the village and the beach

  • Café Tayoughte: to get the cheapest but yummy breakfast at a local place (20 MAD)

Use a good wifi to work

Find a place in a coworking space and join the crowd of digital nomads! The best coworking spaces are the following:

  • TeaPot Cafe: there is a coworking upstairs free of charge if you consume a meal at their restaurant

  • World of Waves: not a real cowork but more a cosy place with sea view to work with sofas and cushions on the floor

Be a foodie and try a new restaurant each day

If you love food, Taghazout will be the place where you will have plenty of options to choose from. Here is a list of our best spots:
First line with sea view (from West to East):

  • Amouage by Surf Maroc: for its Moroccan Monday nights or BBQ Friday nights (250 MAD) or just a drink with its luxury atmosphere

  • Dfrost Almugar - Kitchen Club Restaurant: for its delicious food with an incredible sea view

  • Dfrost Almugar - BBB - Bohemian Berber Bar: for a drink at sunset with a chilly vibe

  • Café Surf Berbère: for its good spot and vibe

  • Rooftop Restaurant: for a pizza on a rooftop facing the ocean

  • World of Waves: for its good vibes and view over the beach

  • Windy Bay: for its good food and view over the beach

  • Café Tayoughte: for the cheap price and very local experience

  • Panorama Restaurant: for its panoramic view over Taghazout Bay

Second line without sea view (from West to East):

  • TeaPot Cafe: for Mediterranean food and the best playlist of Taghazout

  • Chez Titrite: for the best burgers in the area

  • Taghazout Tagine Palace: for cheap tagines with the locals

  • Café Taliouine: for the best cheap tagines with the locals (Come early, better before 8pm, after all the tagines are gone!)

Go for a yoga class

The coast is famous for its surf spots! A great sport to combine with yoga. The best studio in Taghazout is definitely Amouage by Surf Maroc. The huge shala faces the ocean and various  yoga teachers give classes twice per day (7am and 6pm). Doing yoga in front of the ocean, imagining you are on the edge of Africa and that in front of you is America, is a quite magical experience. Definitely recommended!

Skate or enjoy the show at the skatepark

Taghazout Bay is a paradise destination for surfers! You can also skate on the asphalt when you’re not surfing the waves! And if you prefer enjoying the show, this is a perfect spot at sunset!

Find the best barista in Tamraght

There are plenty of options for breakfast in Taghazout village but if you fancy a real cappuccino or flat white barista style, the next village Tamraght is the place to go. Take e shared taxi for 10 dirhams and head to one of these options:

  • Hey Yallah!: a freshly opened barista! They organize a small creators market with DJ set on Sundays

  • Daydream Home Goods: this is a barista in a bobo aircraft boutique

  • Let’s be healing food: good coffee, cakes and healthy food

Treat yourself spending a few nights in a luxury hotel in Taghazout Bay

Taghazout Bay is the place where all the luxury hotels chains align along the coast! Choose one to spend the day (with a day pass access) or stay for one night and more (from West to  East):

  • Fairmont Taghazout Bay

  • Hilton Taghazout Bay Beach Resort & Spa

  • Hyatt Taghazout Bay

  • Riu Palace Tikida Taghazout

  • Radisson Blu Resort Taghazout Bay

Go to one of the many beaches

You won’t lack of options to go to the beach and each one is so different (from East to West):

  • Imi Ouaddar: a long beach in front of the beautiful Paradis Plage Suf Yoga & Spa Restaurant. If you go there, you can enjoy a fresh fish at the restaurant Les Pieds dans l’eau.

  • La Source: a protected beach from the wind. Blue time is the unique restaurant with an amazing view over this beach.

  • Amouage: West to the Amouage by Surf Maroc, you will find a tiny and very beautiful beach

  • Taghazout village: the beach in the center of the village with a lot of animations: camels, horses and locals playing football

  • Taghazout Bay: the longest one in front of the luxury hotels

  • Tamraght Beach & Devil’s Rock: two beaches separated by Devil’s Rock where you can climb to get an amazing view over the bay. This is the place for the surfers. On the back, there are the surf school booby hatches and a few restaurants. Le Navire is an excellent spot for breakfast or snacksin the afternoon, and Chez Brahim the place to go for a seafood lunch

Don’t miss sunset time

Sunset is one thing you don’t want to miss while in Taghazout! If you want to see it plunge into the sea, you better go to Taghazout Bay and watch it from Taghazout Bay or Beach Imourane! Otherwise it is also beautiful from Taghazout village

Visit Paradise Valley

Spend half a day inland to discover the magical oasis of Paradise Valley. The road is stunning and the landscapes beautiful. You can even go for a swim in the oasis. Sadly, the drought is very heavy here, it lacks a lot of water and the natural swimming pools have more brown water than a transparent one. But the trip is still worth it!
